Hiway 20 Mazama

Has anyone rode Hiway 20 by Mazama?
I'm headded to the Methow tomorrow but theres not much snow. Mazama has 11 inches and Rainy and Washington pass have around 30", Harts is pushing 40".
My buddy rode the Goat peak loup yesterday and said it's just road riding, no boondocking yet. With the avy danger I would stay away from Hwy 20.
