I have not installed one. . . But just like installing anything.
Think about routing of wiring Ex(rubbing anything, heat from anything) Be overly anal about this and you will have a good install and save headaches in the end.
One thing I would do that it likely does not say and is probally overkill. On the seals of the connectors(assuming it is plug and play) use a die electric grease. This will help to seal out moisture. Kinda overkill but goes back to my being overly anal about everything.
