Evans and Pike, could be an easy bag, but imagine frowned upon?

I'm thinking Evans and/or Pike's might be a quick road ride after/during a storm. Do they keep those open throughout winter? If so, I don't think they would be on the top of the "Priority one" roads for them to clear. Although you do mention to keep it legal.

Did a little checking. Evans is a no no for motorized above a certain point, usually late September.

Can't really find anything on Pikes, other than they claim open year round weather permitted.


Imagine Evans could be poached, but probably a good way to lose your sled unless you've got an out figured.

13k is easy around here, 14k? Not so much. Only a couple 14ers in our area, none that would be easy to summit.
