High out-put stator?

I do alot of night riding on my 06 switch. Add the center HID and I'm thinking about adding some trailtech hids on the bars but need to figure out how to keep things powered up. Anyone know of a high out-put stators for the 600ho carb motors? Do the cfi stators work on the carb motors?

No they are different on the CFI-4's not to mention the CFI's use crankshaft postion sensors. I don't know if you could make it work but you could look into a 2009 Shift 600 CFI-2 stator and see if it could be modified??? Not to sure, that's throwing a dart at the moon thought.

You might try getting a hold of somebody who rebuilds stators and see if there are any options. The other thing you could look into which would be smart anyway and that would be to add a battery.

I already have a small battery but the issue I have ran into is the lack of output from the stock stator to charge the battery. I used a small trailtech battery http://www.trailtech.net/040-BATT3.7.html not sure how much draw I want to put on the system.

You may want to check with "BLAINE"

Thanks, I'll try to get ahold of him. Does anyone have any insight on the best way to wire in s battery on the 06 iq's? Just want to double check to make sure my wiring was the best possible solution.

RMStator.com in Canada rebuilds stators and suppose to make them produce a stronger output and they offer 1 YR warranty...

worth giving them a call
