This current snowpack structure is potentially deadly. There have been reports from ski area control work indicating that just the weight of one person could remotely trigger a slab on an adjacent but different aspect, some remote triggered slides have been as far away as 70 yards.
In other areas, slightly less wind affects have produced more storm related soft slabs, but even these are ranging up to 3 feet in depth.
The best thing about this report is the "3 feet".....But it is still not worth dying over.
