My low stock intakes with mesh pre filters do usually work ok. But they do get clogged up occationally. Since a EFI sled don’t care about airflow it adds fuel from sensors data via fuel map. Hence it run rich when air is restricted.
I have seen and found a few threads, pictures and products for modifying a carb sled airbox. None a obvious good fit for a EFI sled. Does anyone have an inspirational material for an EFI sled?
I do still have stock exhaust exit location. Possible future mod with know ways to go...
Idea: Keep original internal air paths within airbox, to not have a restriction matching original. Modify external intake at right hand side near chain case. There is a lid/hatch that could be modified into an additional intake passing throw engine compartment and still get cold air from a high mounted intake, like somewhere in gauge cluster area.
