Hifax question

I have a 03 Renegade (MXZ) that is now a 151" and I need to change out the hifaxes (not sure if that is spelt correctly). When I have done it in the past I have always had the suspension out so it was easier. But this time around I have no need to take suspension out for anything. I know there is a way to get them out but not too sure. I know I need to pull the cap off the front of the suspension that holds the hifax in. But how do I go about getting the piece to slide back? Do I use the openings in the track to gain access. Sorry if this is a dumb question. Just want to do it correct the 1st time. Thanks.

Yes openings in track.Pry the hyfax backwards with a screwdriver at the front.Use vise grips to pull it out thru track.A little WD/40 along the rail helps too.

Yeah, may need to cut the window alittle larger and turn the track and cut the other half way around, use screwdriver and pound on it till you can get vise grips to pull it the rest of the way.
