I used the search function and came up dry. Awhile back a few peeps had posted a few different products they use to protect wiring around there turbos. I remember seeing something called 'firewire', it looked really good. The peep indicated it was used on F-16's in and around the engine.. Any other good ideas or brands and where they can be bought?

tks Sean

i usually run multiple things from the local speed shop. one that works awesome is the asbestos plug wire protectors. you WONT melt those. i got some thinner asbestos reflective outside stuff as well that i slid over all the lines going in and out of the turbo to help deal with them breaking down. works really well.

these guys make a TON of amazing stuff.

Mopac in Edmonton carries a sleeve type material that's heat resistant. Works pretty good.
