3 things wrong with this pic-
1. Green topper on white truck-vehicle fashion law infraction
2. Tire/trailer tracks are mysteriously non existent.
3. Scrape is on a 45 degree angle as opposed to a horizontal scrape/dent that would have occurred if damage was caused by a trailer.
Seems suspect.

I would have to see a close up of the damaged area, but I agree the angle is wrong unless the trailer was going over a snow mound at the time of impact. A photo of the area beside the truck would help as well. I can see there not being tire tracks right beside the truck if the truck pulling the trailer was making a hard left turn, the passenger rear corner of the trailer would swing really wide. Just watch some people with four place enclosed trailers at gas stations. Those posts get hit a lot. If the corner of the trailer did hit, I doubt the driver even felt it. The damage is pretty light. Need more and better pics to decipher the event.
Looks more like something a Subaru bumper would have done.
The freshest tracks I can see are from the white ford looks like it made those tracks 3 hrs before pic not 3 days. I would have bet the white ford already was dented before pulling into that spot without reading your post first....good luck sorry for the bad luck
