When they get those massive dumps like that it usually settles like crazy.
Not uncommon for 3' of snow to settle down to 8-12" when all is said and done.
The fun part is you typically don't know when they are coming until a day or so before it hits.

My boss and I have an understanding.
I am Mr. Dependable during the summer. I never take a day off that isn't scheduled for a couple weeks in advance and am always willing to change my plans in order to cover if someone is sick or whatever. In the winter I get to call in with eye trouble. Can't see myself going to work and missing the snowstorm.

My boss dosen't understand this, but I am the same way! Cough due to snow, I feel sickness coming on!!!!

The wifes boss just call's it, white bottle flue.
For those that know what brown bottle flue is.;)

This is why I own my own business!!!:D Ready to go anytime!! thats also why there is RED LABEL:D

Guess I gotta watch what I say on here too, you never know who at work could backstab your arse. Even though I always take vacation for sledding and have never called in sick to go sledding. A "thought fellow" snowester, person I work with was going to print this out and slide it under my bosses door one night I found out. Pretty Chicken Sheet if you ask me!
