My son and I were talking about that during the race. Have all cars be required to have wiper motors. If it starts to rain, throw a competition caution have all cars come in for rain tires and wipers installed. Then let the racing begin.

Agreed completely. That is just part of racing. Atleast in most motorsports. Drag racing is the only exception I can think of where it just does not make sense. Then again, drag racing does not make sense anyway

LMFAO - I just had a mental pic of John Force soft peddaling a set of rain slicks down the track trying to keep 'er straight
Sponsors and fans pay big money and expect to see a full length race. There is no good reason they can't run a wet track. I can understand visibility problems during a down poor but they would not have to wait for the Jet dryers to cook the track before racing again after the rain stops.

He could do it. I have seen him skate all the way through the lights at BIR a few times.
Anyone ever seen in CART or IRL run on an oval with rain tires?
