iam looking for a place to buy the mesh you put down under gravel for road bed. the local hardware store can't seem to find it anywhere and i come up empty doing a web search. i have seen the county use it when putting in a new road. thanks in advance bushman.

Search for geotextile or geotextile fabric
I use a local landscape supply company for most of my stuff but I've also used these guys and have been happy with what they sell.
If you've got a Ferguson (formerly Familian NW) up there, they've got it. Otherwise, an erosion control outfit would have it.
Just make sure you don't cheap out and get the least expensive as weeds WILL grow through it....I even doubled the good stuff up and they still find a way through!
That stuff works wonders over wet ground!!

Well i you know someone who works in a paper machine, get him to get you some used fabric, nothing is better than this stuff and doubt it will cost you much at all.

Before you go and buy some please answer this question so I can reply. I have a sneaking suspision you are using it under a base for pavers or something. If that is the case you are pretty much kicking yourself in the nuts... and I can explain why... but before I go into a long explanation, I need to know why you are using it for.

i have alot of clay on my property when it gets wet the gravel rock or whatever just sinks into it. i have been told to put this down first and it will keep things from sinking to the bottom of the earth. i have no plan on using it under pavers but what is your story for future use. thanks alot bushman
