i have an 81 jag 4000 with a 102C, i got it for 20 bucks from a guy, and i put some phazer weights into it and it works ok for about the first 5 minutes but then it heats up or somthing and it will barely pull its self.

it needs F-2 weights and a black spring, i dont have much of any thing for cash but if any one is willing to trade i have a Radio shack XMOD ( barricade, the cop car from transformers ) with the stage 2 motor

Welcome to the 4M. You might have better luck in the sled specific area's, or in the Swapmeet area. Good luck. Bagger

LMFAO! A nub from SF(snowmobile fanatics), one of the tatertards.

haha im a member of the joke fanatics lol funniest site ever some awesome extreme trail riders posts a picture of him in a ditch wheeling and they love putting colored accesorises on there sleds and putting on monster decals on there hood haha.... i wish i could remember my pass word...

Are you sure its the clutching and not something else? Is the clutch overheating or the motor? Need to clarify the "it" in "it heats up".

If its the clutch is it slipping? Are the bushings worn out? There might be a reason why it cost $20. Just putting some ideas out there. Give a little more information please.

BTW - welcome to the forum! Believe about 1/3 of what you read here.....

:)

it sold that sled and it was the clutching. the spring was too stiff for it and the weights were too light for the little 440 fanner i think it was for an ext or somthing like that

i have an 81 jag 4000 with a 102C,

Wow, I am impressed it runs at all.

Welcome to the fun. if you let em, these guys will spend every dime you have.

With a sled that old, check all the bearing in the drive system and make sure nothing is binding up.
