Whoa... Yeah i agree what does DUI convictions have anything to do with shooting guns? Maybe the fact that she had mental illness and a past suicide attempt but DUI's?

I'm not a hardcore conspiracy theorist but: say big brother were to take a mentally unstable candidate, institutionalize that candidate and implant a horrific scheme in their feeble mind, wait for said horrific act and subsequent public and media outcry, then take away the public's guns and other rights. Far fetched? not so much IMO.
Dont know what to say about that other than just stupid!I many states now a second dui offense if convicted is considered a felony, Also, In those states and any state now a convicted felon is not allowed to own a gun.

The media didn't state that they were felony dui convictions and she didn't own the gun, she rented it.
The media is mis-representing the story and will do more damage to cause gun control than the actual shooting. The reason for the tragety isn't because she had a gun, it was because she has a history of mental illness that was not addressed. The establishment is partly at blame as they let her return and rent the gun when thay had previously banned her.
It is still a sad situation, no doubt!
It seems like a lot of highly publicized gun violence takes place when democrats have the white house.
