Thats exactly how it was when we went riding with a Dragon 800. They are not set up from the factory like the 700s are. I think it will do alot better after some clutching to get track speed up.

Don't forget that the XP has a 16 inch wide track. 154 more sq inch's of track on the ground. My buddy has a 800 dragon that he has worked the clutches on and it works way better now than when it was out of the box.
