helping out hospital staff till streets get plowed

well since here in huron s.d we got 12 to 16 inches from this storm, and my wife works at the hospital, i told her if people need a ride to and from work, i'd vol me and my sled. hauled one this am and 2 tonight. City is gettin the streets plowed so its kinda hard on the skis in places, but kinda gives a guy a warm fuzzy feeling helping out. and its giving a chance for some people to see that hey??!! these things are kinda handy. A Nurse told me on the way home tonite, i think i'd like to go with you and your wife sometime, this is kinda fun!!
Anybody else offer the sled in times of need?? Hats off if ya do!!!

back in the early 90's when we had snow, i had one of those old style cell phones that i would get called on to give nurses and doc a ride to the hospital. never got called tho

Just outside Rapid City and have hauled a couple of the City guys down to the shop so they could get the plows going and clear roads... Last spring loaned out my back up sled to the neighbor so he could make it out to get the power station back on line when we got hit with the April blizzard. Makes for a good excuse to get out of the house and ride too!
