Help with skis - powder pros or slydogs?

So far i love the powder pros on the trail. No plowing at all, and minimal darting. But I haven't been able to try them in the powder.

I have powder pros on my M-1000 and have had them on an M-7 in the past. They work very well on both of those sleds. I have also ridden many polaris sleds with powder pros, 900, 600, dragon 8 and they work very well on them also. I've never been on a sled with the powderhounds, buy I would really like to try them.

Slydog Skis

Had a set of them on my rx-1 .Then sold it and kept the slydogs for my mountain max. These are an all around ski --powder, trail no darting , side hilling etc. I would not buy any other ski , You can also have them in any colors with different designs (flames, patriot, etc.)

depends on what sled u rid ive heard that PP on sleds with lots of ski pressure is a bad combo

i have a IQ racer with the slydogs and huge improvment over stock much easier to turn and float 10 times better plus the colors are cool

Powderhounds

Have a 06 with some powderhounds on it. Felt good on the trail and seemed to carve and float nice in the powder. If anyone is interested, I have powderhounds for sale on my site. longtracksedge.com

Powder pro's with the Struthers cut in the rear are nice for powder. But be careful, two years ago I had a bad accident when a bolt broke causing me to have a bad accident which I am still paying for. Junk the bolts they came with and buy grade 8 bolts. It may save you some pain. If your riding trail you cant beat Simmons Flex ski they corner like there on rails.

I love my PP's everywhere except on the trail, possibly the best ski in powder IMO, but I really don't like them on the trail-they dart like noneother, Just hold on if you catch another ski-rut, they will throw you. Off trail, however, they are extremely easy to control and very responsive.

I had PP's on my Polaris, and loved them. On the Rev, they were a little too much bite for me with the ski pressure. Mods worked really well for me also, had them on my last 3 sleds. I'm going to try the USI Tripple Threat's this week, and see how I like them. No personal experiance with the Slydogs, but a buddy had them on his 05 Rev, and really liked them. I think he bought them from Freak.
