Plan on purchasing a ski doo in either Montana or Washington.
Who are some of the stronger dealers?

WA Dealer

Xtreme Power Sports in Okanogan, WA is my dealer and received "Dealer of the Year award from BRP over I believe a 4 state area. They sold nearly 80 new sleds this winter along with over all sales and shop certification of their techs.

Give Darren a call at 509-826-5771. Family owned business and good service.

good luck getting a recall letter form them. I tried for a few weeks and then gave up when my sled got stolen.

BRP has changed their policy and will no longer give out the recall letters for free. You have to order one from a local dealer and they can charge whatever they feel like charging you. I had two dealers completely ignore my request for a price on the letter.

This is how thye plan on preventing people from importing sleds. No recall letter means no RIV approval which means you cannot register the sled in Canada.

I am pretty much done with BRP because of the way they treat customers. IMO, they make the best sleds but I probably won't buy another one.

I'm sure the dealer you buy it from would supply you with a letter at no charge, make it part of the original deal. BRP is trying to stall out on supplying those letters, but legally they have to issue them when requested.

Just think, if these jerk off sled builders would step up and even out pricing all the USA and CDN dealers, customers etc would be all happy. Hmmm imagine that, a simple solution and everybody lives happily ever after......

Just what I was gonna say....the US dealer, particularily selling you a sled, should have no problem getting you one on the free. It's a joke really....lists the sled, a little info, vin, outstanding campains (if any), completed campains (if any). That's it...nothing special.

BRP is trying to charge like $250 for one through Canadian dealers or some damn thing....what a crock. The inspection form for your $16.95 oil change at Wal Mart, that the highschool kid prints off between smoking joints and eating King Dongs has more involved info on it.

I got a guy to buy mine for me in the US. I dont think a dealer would sell to a canadian. Has to be used.

You are canadian? Right?

I think BRP dropped prices a bit too in canada but not close enough to the US prices.

Really sucks for the canadian dealers...........
