Help with my 07 Apex

I got all my summer projects done and fired it up to check new track alignment. It ran for a few minutes and stopped. It turns over OK, but when I turn the key on my aftermarket fuel pump is not pressurizing. I think the problem is no fuel. I can hear the relay clicking and have power in and out but no power to the pump itsself. Looks like a big job to try to trace through all the wiring harnesses. I have checked all the fuses I can find, they all check out OK. I suppose I can get it loaded and to a dealer if needed, but it won’t be fun. Anybody got any brain storms?

Turbo?

I had this happen to me because I didnt upgrade the fuse down in the front on the block. I think it was from a 5 to a 15 amp for the extra draw of the extra fuel pump.

Where is this fuse located. Is it in the nose. Im not aware of any fuses by the block.

Yes it flashed a code 14, but it did this last year and stopped once it got warmed up after not being started for several months.

I think its was in the nose or on the side its a black block maybe a inch wide and 3 inches long takes a mini fuse like the ones in new cars

OK I found the fuse I think you are talking about it was under my intercooler and it was blown. It was originally a 10 amp fuse but I remembered when I installed the turbo kit I had to install a 15 amp.

I got the fuse replaced but that did not solve my problem. I still have no power to the fuel pump.

Any other idea's?

Why Not, did you get this figured out? I have the same problem and I don't want to start tearing all the wiring apart.

Anybody know if there are other fuses on the system?

Possibly could be a fried fuel controller, not sure what it could be but when those fuel controllers are @__KED up it can make a guy go frekin crazy.. Mine went last year and put a new one good to go..

Why Not did you go into the diagnostic mode to check for codes? Or just what pops up on the dash when you turn you key on??? What ever is going on there should show up. If you need info how to get into the diag mode ill write it out for ya.

EZ, I did check for stored codes. The only code was 84 and I cleared it. The sled turns over fine, it just does not have any fuel pressure. There is no power to the fuel pump. I did test the pump with another battery and it pressurized. The sled will start and run if I try to start it while the pump is hooked up to a separate battery. I don’t dare run it for long this way, but it is not storing codes while it is running. I have chased wiring the best I can without tearing the harnesses apart which I really don’t want to do.

I have checked all the fuses in the fuse box located on the right side of the delta box. I have checked the fuse that is attached to the battery cables. It is in a black box about 1 inch square and has a spare on the other side of the box. This fuse was blown and I replaced it. This is a regular size fuse, not a small fuse like Ultralord mentioned. This fuse came stock at 10 amps, but was replaced with 15 amp when turbo kit was installed. It did not solve my problem. I have also checked the 40 amp main fuse that is held in with a rubber strap. It is OK. I can’t find any other fuses, but I am wondering if I am missing the mini fuse that Ultralord mentioned. Does anyone know if there are more than the 3 fuse locations I have checked?

Thanks for your help.
