so i ride wa but travel for work will the us topo map give me what i want as far as detailed terrain and forest service roads, small creeks and lakes or should i just buy the west topo and figure the rest out later theres a big difference in map scale. i just don't know if it makes that much diff. the west only covers wa,or,cal and nv.

I just bought the west topo (24k), not too impressed, but better than no map and has a lot of place names ect... (Then again i stare at satalite photos all day.) where you at, we could load it on your GPS? i got the 1g mini disk to hold more map, not sure how big the internal HD is.

New west topo?
What is the date on the new west topo?
Mine is a bit dated. 2000? it shows the river on the wrong side of spirt lake highway, like it was made from maps from before the mountian blew!
Where did you find it and how much $?
