Help With Extros

I put on a set of 9 tooth extro drivers on a 01 Summit, now the teeth are hitting the tips of the rails. I tried grinding the plastic tips of the rails but they still touch when front is compressed. So should I cut the rails or move the skid back about 1"? What would the max I could move it back without getting into a longer track, now it is a 144".

Thanks

Ideally a susp setback would be the way to go. In '02 they were setback from the factory about 3.5" from the '01's. You could do this and keep the same track but you would need to go with a set of universal rail extensions and mount them in the proper location depending on the amount of setback.
Doing this will also help in the deep ALOT with the shallower approach angle.
