Help with ethanol setting

Have a mutt sled, 2013 800 motor, 2015 wire harness and 2012 gauge. Also running pc v fuel controller. Wondering about ethanol setting, doesn’t have plug because of 15 harness, don’t seem to be able to change because of 2012 gauge but do I need to worry about it with the pc v box? Thanks for any feedback.

Your fuel maps will be contained within the power Commander, thereby defeating the factory ethanol adjustment. Correct mapping will be entirely dependent on what's in your PC. FYI the factory settings function can be changed only with parking brake on.

Thank you, figured it was more or less disabled running the pc v. Will try things with parking brake but the 2012 gauge is different then the 2013 and newer. I don’t know if my gauge will show ethanol settings???

Ethanol setting is still applicable with a pc5 on my 14 I have a map switch with two maps use ethanol mode on top of the second map to give me basically a 3rd map I assure you the pc5 doesn’t disable ethanol mode
