Does Any One Know How To Test A Coil And What The Specs Should Be For A Coil 512059363 2001 800 Highmark X

I Put A Tester On The Spark Plug Wires And One Side Is Real Erratic (lights Up Then Stops Then Lights Again) . Sounds Like The Sled Is Running On 1 Cylinder

Are you spark plug boots in good shape? My 02 800 HMX would sometimes run on one cylinder and the problem was one of the spark plug bootd was messed up on the inside. When you look in the boot, youll see a metal piece. That was turn sideways and was warn out, and thats why it would run on the one cylinder cause, that boot with the messed up metal thing wasnt getting spark. I got new boots and the problem was solved. It also sometimes wouldnt even go into reverse or come out of reverse. I also got a new Coil Assembly thats still in the box if you need it ($70)
