Help!! where do you get the push pins for light weight XP hoods??

I have the light weight hood for my XP and the retainer pins that hold it in place have broke or just falling out. I called my dealer and he said I had to order another new hood for 250.00 plus bucks to get a set of pins. WHAT THE HE11!!!!!!!!! I suppose when it comes time for new spark plugs I'll have to order a new motor.........Anyway Im sure someone out there can get these retainer pins, any help is appreciated.......
