help to make drop brackets 4 friends

ok on a 1996 rmk or sks there are two mount holes four the rear mount on the rear suspension they are angled form top to bottom going back. i am making drop brackets for a 97 indy sport touring so i dont have to dig him out. what metel do i make it out of and will this angle work for his sled too.

You can make them out of steel which is what the factory uses or you can use aluminum. Aluminum should be a little thicker then the steel , also wouldn't hurt to make a support bracket going atowards the outer edge of the tunnel.
