I have a 07 M1000 that i built my own kit for I put around 400 miles on it so far with no unself caused problems until now I was pulling a chute when she just up and died like some one just hit the kill switch coasted to bottom pulled pipe to make sure it was not locked up or any engine damage none at all.
Checked spark it was good checked fuel pump seemed top be working had pressure up to 25# while pulling over checked all electriacle connections all were good, pulled for about 30 mins with no luck so I got towed out got with in 6 miles of truck the guys that pulled me out had to go lock the cabin back up. While i waited I got cold and decided to pull on the rope after just 2 mins of pulling it fired up acted like it was flooded got all cleaned out and rode it back to the truck it had a little bobble in the mid range ounce in a while while heading to the truck that wasnt there before, other than that it ran great fuel pressure was where it is supposed to be EGT and AFR readings were all good was thinking it is the fuel pump but now I am stumped any help would be great.

Thanks

Does it hold fuel pressure for awhile or bleed off rapidly? Do you have the temp sensor switch? snow stuck in the throttle tripping the safety? May have to double triple check the connections and coat them with a dielectric grease. how does it start now at the shop?

Ya i have checked and rechecked all connections it does hold fuel pressure for quite a while and it didnt have any snow in the throttle I have been leaning towards a stator problem this is very frustrating because now it fires up on hte 2nd pull in hte shop every time
thanks for all hte responses so far keep them coming

sounds like it may be the stator starting to die or even the fuel pump. works great when cold but the hotter they get they just have a loss until it finally quits. dunno
