Help t-stat restrictor ?

installing 06 840 shr tonight and can't remember
which hose does the shr aluminium restrictor go in
it's been apart since last year

I assume you are talking about the t-stat delete? In the hose that goes to the coolant bottle, there will be a restrictor with a small hole, maybe .125". Where the thermostat goes there will be another restrictor (or a gutted stat) with a hole about the size of the end of your baby finger (unless your are a mutant of some sort)
