help strengthin track

i honestly just bought a track off ebay for no kidding, $2.26 ... its off an rmk so its a 144x15x2..

It has like 8 missing lugs and one part where the belt shows. I figured for 2 bucks, why not.

My question is, is there anyway to make that track usable??? could i port the middle out to reduce weight, but put screws in the paddles for strength?? would that make the track last?? Is there anyway to strengthin that shown belt?? and yes, it will fit on my sled. Im building a mountain viper.

just put it on and run the shiet out of it. there really insnt any way to strengthen it. screws would probably make it more likely to make the paddles tear and if it slaps your tunnel it will chew it up big time! not to mention the extra rotating weight! put it on and run it. ive seen tracks way worse than what yours sounds like...like missing every other lug lol

put it back on ebay with a reserve bid for 5.00...you will double your money..maybe by the end of the summer if you invested the 5 bucks wisely you can buy a new track

Do a search on track repair.

THere is a glue that you can get from Hobby Lobby called EV6000. Guys have glued the paddle back to the belting of the track, and then run a small sheet rock screw threw the backside of the track into the paddle.
