Help!!! Someone with a polaris rmk xtra 10 136" PLEASE!!!

Have a 1998 polaris xc 700 with a 121" xtra 10 suspension and have purchased a 136" xtra 10 out of a 99 rmk 700. What I need are some measurements to install this bad boy.

From a 99 Polaris RMK 700 with a XTRA 10 136" track or equivalent:

----Measurement from the flat on the drive shaft (closest back of machine) to the center of the front and rear suspension mounting holes.

----Measurement from the top of the tunnel down to the center of the front and rear mounting holes.

Would greatly appreciate any help, or advice where I might be able to find these 4 important measurements, THANKS for time and HELP!!!!!!!

Mount the rear drop brackets 4" on center back from the 121" mounting point. Front mounting is the same but you must lower it by drilling another hole 3/4" down, should be predrilled on the metal plate.

you should go lower on the back.... people install drop brackets to get them lower than they would/should be anyways.... I'd say two inches under the running board would be plenty sufficient
and not to pouch this thread but does anyone know the distance that should be between the two mounting holes - I don't think mine transfers right and as many times as i've drilled new holes for my drag slick, I cant remember

If this helps more than me, even better......

Its kinda why was looking for measurements from a flat on, or from the center of the drive shaft to the center of the front and rear mount holes. To keep the transfer as close to stock as I could and keep everything functioning properly, esspecially since this is a coupled suspension. Plan on taking all advice and applying.....Looking for as much info as possible before I turn my tunnel into swiss cheese..... Thanks again to all.....

I have three Poo's in the shop with an xtra 10/136;
97 700 RMK
97 XLT RMK
91 Indy 500
Both of the 97's are factory installed, the 91 was installed later. Let me know if you need any numbers from any of these.

make sure that your rails sit flat on the floor with the skid bolted in in the front. If it doesn't you'll be looking at problems handling and wearpart wise. The biggest thing is to get your c-c and distance from the top of the tunnel right, if you don't you're looking at troubles there too. Just because the rear bumper is way up in the air doesn't mean it'll work better.

97 rmk: distance from

-center of drive shaft or, flat on drive shaft(closest rear bumper) to center of front and rear mounting holes

-top of tunnel down to center of front and rear mounting holes

-thanks much

NWGooser - post them up on the 97's they should be the same but im interested in the 700 all measurements would be sweet
