OK fellow 900 folks I need some help. I was out riding this weekend and my sled started bogging around 3/4 throttle. If you nailed it, it seemed to pull just fine but if you feathered into it when you got about 3/4 throttle it would bog and not go above 6000 rpm. worked fine 2 weeks ago. below are some of the things I have checked and it is still doing it

slp pipe and can
timbersled intake
engine compression 125# both cylinders cold
oil pump and cable checked and good
tps tested sits at .93 throttle closed 4.05 throttle full open (did not check with throttle plates completely closed
exhaust valves cleaned found one bellows had a hole in it. both bellows replaced
New fuel filter put in. (fuel pressure before new filter was 60# after new filter was 62#)
Plugs looked fouled put new ones in NGK

Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Have you checked your belt and clutches. My belt looked good but it made a big change. I had the top problem 3/4 throttle it would just go flat. Know I hit 7800 pulls like a tractor.

Sound like it may be a bad spot in your TPS. Test your TPS thoroughly to be sure.
Good luck

take a quick look at your primary spring too, and make sure It's not broken.

checked

Has a brand new belt on it put it on before last ride. Both primary and secondary clutches were gone through at the same time.

Also checked the TPS and checked good at throttle at idle position and wide open. I was using a digital meter so could not really check for dead spots. I will borrow an analog meter and check for dead spots.

Thanks for everyones help. Snow is incredible in the blackhills and it sucks having a broke *** sled.

Check your water temp sensor. It is a cheap part! Mine did the same thing and couldn't figure it out for half a season. Does it run well when you first start ridiing and then when it warms up it bogs?
