Help!! New 2007 REV owner

First ride out on 2007 XRS 151 yesterday and I noticed a few things that seem a bit off. Hopefully someone can help me out.
1) sled seems to stick a 6000rpm when riding, won't shift unless i really give her - engine just screams until it down shifts.
2) carving in powder to the left, sled bogs like my old one would when the exhaust became buried in the snow - doesn't seem right as the exhaust is in the open carving that way.
3)the sled has a floating secondary - is this a good mod? seems like the belt may be rolling slightly on the engine side as the top of the belt is becoming smooth.

Does anyone have a good clutching / gearing set up for these sleds. I have team secondary that I am thinking about putting on, but i want to get the other problems fixed first.

Thanks for the help!!

I would buy a clutch kit for the first thing you do. I have dj's and am very happy with it. Check the arms in your primary to see if they are sticking. Put a filter sock on your air cleaner so when you carve to the left it isnt clogging up with snow.The floating secondary is a good idea. I would get a clutch kit before you spend alot on a new secondary. A must is also put a stiffer secondary spring in.:beer;

I changed out from the TRA-7 to a polaris p-85 primary, put a 40 degree helix in and a lower gear and you should be good to go. If it bogs make sure to wipe the ice chunks off of the intake.

good luck

Evan
