Hey there, I am sure this has been beat to death in the past but I am looking to buy an enclosed trailer for two sleds and also to be used to haul a side by side. Please help with the following:

1. Brand- Triton, Mission, or Mirage

2. All aluminum or steel.

I have the models picked out for all three manufactures and the options I want. What i really need is your opinion on the two questions above. I'm on the west coast so finding a used enclosed trailer is difficult if not impossible. Thanks.

Only input I have on those makes is the sidewalls were breaking loose from the bottom on the steel framed Mirage that my friend had. Driving behind it you could see the sides move side to side a bit and the main rear door stayed stationary. That was a 2006 model.

You might consider Look, I just ordered a Look Element 7x21 (16ft box plus 5 ft V). They say it will hold 3 but I only have 2 sleds.

You didn't mention what options you want but you can load it up or not.

Here are the options I got on mine and It was less than $7k

White Vinyl Ceiling liner
Drymax floors and walls
6” extra height (total of 7ft)
Spare tire
Interior high spare mount
1 Fuel door
.030 skin upgrade walls and ceiling
Equalizer Brackets
12 inch internal ATP Kick plate
1 Roof vent
205/75 R15 radial tires including spare

I bought a plain Look cargo trailer with a v nose full rear ramp door for $5000. new. It's 7 foot wide so you stagger the sleds. I did spend a couple hundred painting the wood white and applying bedliner on floor and ski runners. Works excellent and I use it in summer for 4 wheelers and dirt bikes, love it.

I am very happy with my 8.5x29 mission trailer but couldn't go wrong with a triton if the pocket are deep. I personally wouldn't buy a mirage.

I haven't researched those brands much but coming from a steel framed and being around them. My opinion is you can find a quality built all aluminum go that way. The corrosion between the steel frame and aluminum walls gets bad with time.

I have a new look also. Great trailer so far. I think triton makes a great trailer. Cost 3 times as much as mine. It's for sure not 3 times better.

Thanks for your feedback. I am leaning towards the mission due to all aluminum and I can actually find on in California. I would go with the Triton but a little too much money for me. Thanks again.
