Help me understand this please?

The GOP candidates:

Mitt Romney is kicking tail, personally I think he's a douche but way better than Obama.

I really liked Santorum, but he's not gonna get the nod.

I also liked Ron Paul and I know most of you think he's a pretty good answer to America's issues.

So why are the two candidates that seem to be better getting their as$es kicked?

And Newt? Well he's as bad or worse than Obama. I wouldn't trust that guy to manage a plug nickel.

My thoughts are that people like Santorum based on their emotional response. He says some great things that respond to our fears and hopes and wishes.. Unfortunately so did Hitler... Santorum is Hitler in a sweater vest. Scares the crap out of me with his "the bible says the world is like this and that is how we all need to live".. I can't believe how many people are voting for this pud. You really ready to go to war with Iran? You think Iraq was a mess, wait till we invade a country that actually has technology and smart people...

Romney.. I think he adds nothing new to the situation. He has good speaking ability, but I haven't seen anything new from him.. he just seem to heavily processed.

Paul - Honestly, I love the guy. He seems to be the only one that has been consistent in his beliefs and is the only one of the republicans that actually seems to have a grasp on the problems with interfering in other countries. He also seems to be the only one that is serious about tackling the debt problem in this country. He can't talk very well, nor stay on message, but he seems to be the only one honest that cares enough about this country to do what it actually is going to take..

Gingrich - I like his bold plans.. but besides that, he is a slick talker and pretty pompus..

The global engineers dont want ron paul as president because paul would destroy everything their evil heads have worked towards. he is the next JFK. theyre doing everything they can to stop Dr. Ron Paul because they dont want to have to kill him like they did JFK. but they will if they have to.

instead they have the media brainwash the masses on whos at the top and whos not.

the thing about Ron Paul supporters, is we literally have a passion for that guy. we see whats wrong with the country and we LOVE Ron Paul for the human being he is. we believe in the man and what he can do. if anyone talks chit about the dude we literally get offended.

romney supporters, santorum and newt supporters they do nothing but repeat the very info that the ****ed corporate media tells them. AMERICA IS ****ING DEAD WITHOUT RON PAUL.

ok people are still under the impression that our system works. and more specificly that your /their vote matters. It does not.

...simple (IMHO)....it's all about the $$. The guy who can raise the most $$ will always win. Those with money to donate (those that WANT something in return) will give it to the person they feel will be most easily manipulated (bribed?) into pushing policy that will benefit them. Ron Paul is too consistant and has a plan. That won't get him money from anyone that won't benefit from HIS plan.
Romney will change his colors to fit whoever he is talking to. So does Obama.
So, basically anyone with a firm plan appeals mainly to extremists...Ron Paul supporters are labeled as extremists by most media. Politicians that are wishy washy can appeal to anyone and everyone. Which will get the most $$ and votes? Then, when they get in office they get little or nothing done because they don't want to piss off their supporters.
I have heard some good things about Romney with money management....not sure if that will carry over to the Oval office or not. I don't think it will matter as Obama will get another 4 barring something major.
