Help me pick my seat!

I have a 2013 SBA. I want to get rid of the orange on the sled and more importantly the hump on the back of the seat.

I have ridden a '12 Pro RMK and absolutely hated that seat. Way too hard. I have to ride trails quite a bit in Minnesota and do quite a bit of sit down riding.

Who makes a good seat that is similar in comfort to the stock one, but has a black grippy cover and no hump on the back?
I know of quite a few but want input from those who actually have put some miles on them.

I am 5' 5" and love there rassam two inch lower seat. Rode a friends and now I just have to come up with the $$ for one.
I would suggest if you live in MN you check out Haydays at the end of this month. Could find a good deal on seat.

Thanks for the reply. I have looked at the WRP they seem to be priced pretty decent.

Why do you prefer the 2" lower? I am assuming easier to throw your leg over? I'm 6'2" so I am thinking stock height. I just always seem to catch my boot on the bump on the back of the stock one and it it white where the boot hits.

Ya not that tall and seat does not hit me in the butt when using my legs as shocks over bumps.

A seat off a 13 Pro is shorter in length and has a wider flatter top that is very comfortable, its a huge upgrade from the 11 & 12 seats. And I bet you can get one new or like new for around $200

I recommend the 13/14' all black seat from polaris. $300 and comes with the rear support brace. Here is a pic on my 12' assault:

Nice sled! I did the same thing with my kill switch and reverse switch.

I'll have to take a seat on a new RMK at the dealer and check out that seat.

Another vote for the shorter/flatter RMK seat from a 13.I like it better than the seat on my 11.I'll be looking for one in the swapmeet at the snowshow this fall in Denver.
Think I remember reading of people with 12 RMK's needing the mounting bracket from an 11 or a 13 RMK for the seat to sit right, although I'm not sure if it applies to a switchback.

I was never a fan of the rounded 11-12 RMK seat. The seat on my '13 Pro is flatter and very comfy when you do have to sit. Of course, this is all personal preference, but something to look at.

I like the WRP, it is very comfortable to sit on when on the trail and has a nice shape when not.

I put a 13 seat on my 08 and like it, the shorter length makes it easier to get a leg around and wider top is nice
