Looking to head west from MN for another trip. Looking at leaving next week Tuesday for 4-5 days. First trip to West Yellowstone was a bust in the middle of January with low snow and its mostly brown here in MN.

Help me out with where to go? Snowies? Serra Madres? Togwotee? Southern CO

Looks like awesome snow in Southern CO but we have not rode in that area before and would need some input on a good place to start.

I have a 163 Pro RMK in the shop that has not seen enough snow yet this year!:face-icon-small-fro:face-icon-small-fro

Thanks!

I am heading that way on the 11th from Omaha riding 12-14, probably staying in Waldren CO and riding buff pass and rabbit ears, Madres would be good as well.

2 sleds with me so far,

Might just call it a year. No to low snow in the areas I usually ride, some unusual circumstances with my best riding bud and my girl has a broken leg. I think I'm just gonna tuck tail and hope next year is better. Hoping the leg is good enough to spend a few days at the Jackson hillclimb.

I did get lucky and spent 15 deep days (a couple being ridiculously deep) riding Christmas to the week after New Years.

My suggestion would be to pick a place where you can unload above 8500-9000ft and have little or no trail riding. Several place have plenty of base but its gonna be a crap shoot if they have any powder the days you are there. Eric

Might make it harder to get a place to stay during spring break season, but the longer you wait to pick a place, the better chance you'll have of getting fresh snow.

Most of Colorado is predicted for light snow Thursday and Friday, maybe later in the week the forecasters will get bullish for an area?

No go for this week. Looks like we will be watching forecast's and hoping for some late season dumps and have to point it west real quick when/if it happens.

We are going to have 60's this week in MN. :face-icon-small-fro:face-icon-small-fro

trip is planned for march 26-29th to the big horns. depending on snow. praying for spring to dump some snow for one last trip!

Heading to cooke this coming week, forecast is looking a bit warm..we'll see

Better be doing a hell of a snow dance!!! With there warm temps and lack of snow, we have canceled a few times in the last month, which sucks!!!

A buddy and myself are planning on going west from SD the 25-30th. Don't know where yet. We kind of gave up for now figuring a spot out. We are going to figure it out right before we leave and see how the snow holds up. Don't know what else to do. Originally we were thinking Cooke or Alpine WY, them a couple places in CO came up...

Any snow?

Looking for an update on the snow? Me and a couple buddies are going to try for next week leaving the 24th - 25th for a few days of riding and maybe head to Jackson for the hill climbs on Saturday.

Snow wise how is Togwotee, Snowies, Pinedale area, Alpine? Maybe we should head to CO?

Trying to get one more ride in this season. It was 72 yesterday in MN.

Thanks

If you figure or find anything out, please let me know! A buddy and I are planning on heading west CO or WY from Brookings, SD. Wouldn't mind having a few more people joining us. We were planning on leaving the 25th and coming back the 30th.

Hill climbs are CANCELED
Fernie B.C. got some snow a couple of days ago, 26 inches I think was the total. Take HWY 2 over, probably the same distance as Jackson for you.
