Help me identify my shockwave helix

Hi!

I just bought a shockwave helix, and the only thing i know about it is that are progressive ramps on it. I cant find any numbers on the ramps or something like that.

I have measured it with a straight helix, and i can se it is progressive that way.

But i dont know what the angles i can adjust it between. The seller thought it was 4 degrees diffrence. So i can adjust it like 40/36 , 44/40 and so on. And 1/4 revulotion adjust the whole helix 1 degree

But i want to know what the angle will be if i adjust it to the least aggressive. The whole span if you know what i mean.

I couldnt find any mail to shockwave so i can ask them.

And what are your experience for the shockwave helixes on the qrs Clutch?

Hope you guys could help me! ??

Either straight or I believe they advertised a 4* spread...it may be 3-4* depending on how/where it's measured.

My understanding is they are out of business so finding ramps will be a challenge.

I know we sold all of our shockwave bits a few months back.

It just wanted to know if its various of variable ramps for the helix. If it just one variable ramp i know what helix i have.

If anyone have straight ramps for it, sens me a pm! :)

I dont know if i want a straight one yet.. I havent tried it enough yet. But if you are interested to sell me just the ramps from one of the helix lm lnterested ??

I liked the Shockwave as a tool to find the best angles for various shift ratios prior to having a custom helix cut for a given primary setup/sled. Typically a wider spread worked best on a big track sled for the hills.
They did offer some custom ramps but were typically straight or 3-4* progressive.

I think installing one of those helixes on a sled would be like opening up a Pandora’s box of variables. I’m going to guess there’s a good reason why they’re not made any more and rarely mentioned.
