help me hook up better

Bikeman performance built me a 177hp "M" last year, the little I drove it it felt like I was always spinning...current setup is 141 with attack 20. What should I go to? Thanks

IF your attack 20 is in the powder position it is going to spin like crazy, flip it around and it will hook up, but also trench in powder. A little more expensive option would be to get the powerclaw!

help you hook up better?

Um, haircut? New threads? Singles bar?

Or what I do...lower your standards!

The A20 is really junk in the standard position. Flip it around is cheap and is much better but still not good.

Second option is get a camo extreme. They aren't really that much money, and you might even find a take off from someone upgrading to the best option. The powerclaw.

But you will pay for the claw. Give Michelle (freeagnet) a PM and see what she can do for you on a track.

haha i was waiting for the smartazz comments....the shorter track you can spin higher track speeds but imo i think you would like going to a 153 better but if you ride in enough hardpack i would hold off on the 162

I don't know what HP numbers I'm at, because I've never dyno'd it but I have a 1000cc Cutler motor in a M7 141 with the attack 20, just like you. It runs very very well, and yes it spins a lot on hardpack, but in deep fluffy powder it is awesome. If you want something that is good in all conditions, get a different track. If you want something that is AWESOME in deep fluffy powder, don't do a thing. I would never go to a longer track because I love having a light weight, easy to throw around, easy to sidehill, and great for jumping sled that climbs exceptionally well (compared to other N/A sleds) in deep powder (which is what I live to ride in). Yes, it spins like crazy on the hardpack (my track is in pow position), and at times can be a little scary in those conditions, but so what!! When it's hardpack, you can climb things you shouldn't anyways (even with the A20), and once you get used to it spinning and know what and what not to do in those situations, it's still a great set-up IMO. I bought my '05 M7 new, and after one season put the BB on it and have had it ever since. I've since done a lot more to the sled, but it is still 141" and still has the A20. ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE SLED AND SET-UP!!! It is perfect for what I like to do.

it doesn't matter how long it is, just if you know how to use it:eek::D

Is that what she told you:D

Just exactly what sled is it, a 09 and newer 153 will respond like a older 141 in maneuverability. in deep snow longer floats better. but if you know how to ride you can go just as far but you wont be high marking with the longer sleds unless the snow is setup. Power Claw is the best upgrade on any m sled no matter what length.
