Help!! M7 racin sation 800 bog

I just bought a m7 with a racin station 800 big bore. When i start accelorating it runs good till 6000 ish rpm then it bogs hard but if i keep on the throttle for a bit once it hits a point it opens up and rips but theres that area of bog? Is this a clutching issue or a issue with the fuel controller?
Id appriciate any suggestions thanks

I would say start with trying to take some of the fuel out of the mid ranges. hope you run EGTs and dont lean it out. Or what are you running for fuel? I have an M7 with an Engine tech 900bb and it didnt run that well on Preimum pump gas no matter what i did with the fuel mapping (either to lean or had wierd bogs) so now i throw a gallon of VP c12 in everytank and it runs like a stud.

Do you have any other mods than the 800 kit? If not, you do not need fuel box either. If you run some box, post the numbers you are using? I'm also running RS 800 kit with SW 925 pipe and 2 degree timing key and needed to add fuel very little (max 6 at top).

I'd check APV valves/cables and clutch/secondary rollers as well other parts in that area.

Yup, Powervalve servo motor, or stuck powervalve, or powervalve out of adjustment.
Call racinstation.biz He'll go out of his way to get you up and running.

Its got jaws twins, rave exaust valves, ported and polished, v force reeds and tonight i will check my. Boondocker numbers. I have ran 20% race gas and just premium with the same results. But thanks for the help guys

Check all the above listed items and post the BD numbers. Sounds like a rich condition in the midrange or a PV cable hanging up.

ttt

Eric, mine was doing this same thing. If it is a cable hanging up would both cylinders drop off or just one. Seems the servo motor would have to move both cables at the same time, if one hangs, then they both are stuck????

I pulled my y-pipe and push up on my powervalves. On one side the cable would show slack at the servo, but the other side the cable wouldn't move at all at the servo. I am going to lube them, or should I just replace them altogether. Once it is put together it is that much more of a pain to switch them out, I have another set of cables laying around. Maybe the sheathing on the inside of the cable is going bad.

Edit: Also when I actually pull on the cable at the servo side, both valves move freely. Motor doesnt have more then 70 miles, so carbo build up cant be it. Egts would be 1100 on one side and then the other side would drop off to 650 or so.

Cable could be broken, out of adjustment, or hanging up. If you are that much out on one side your trim could be off as well.

My bd settings are
M2u. Lo. Md. Hi. Tr
3000 01. 01. 01. 00
5000. 01. 01. 01. 00
6700. 01. 01. 01. 00
7800. 05 08. 12. 00

Its above 6700 i think where it bogs tomorrow ill see if its there.

Give these a try and I think you will be a bit better off.

Remember they get HOT in the mid range so blip the throttle frequently.

It got too hot with those settings and it ran better with the other settins. It seemed like it gets hot when it bogs like above 1350 and i think it needs to be clutched too. It engages at 4000rpm and hits 70mph when its passed the long bog. Thanks
