I was riding my 07, 800R XRS the other day and when I stopped I noticed antifreeze dripping from the snow flap area to the ground, very small drip. I could not tell exactly where this leak was but it did not leak the rest of the day. Has anyone had good luck running radiator sealant in snowmobiles? Or is this just asking for trouble............. I plan on taking off the flap and checking the rear heat exchanger this weekend but if I cant locate the leak I was thinking of running some type of sealer theough the system.

puleeeze, stop leak is for chebbies not sleds......seriously, don't add it to your coolant system....get a good air supply that you can control. take off the cap on your coolant reservoir, get a rag of some sort to block escaping air and put a bit of pressure in the reservoir to pressurize it, if there's a leak it will show up and you can then fix it properly.....oh yeah, is there any chance that your coolant bottle was too full at the start of your ride?....the fluid could have expanded and forced a little out which could have been thrown back onto your snoflap, but then not have drained anymore
