Help Looking at a 07 dragon

I found this dragon 163 and the guy wants $1300 for it with a blown engine consisting of broken crank. Good deal or should I talk him down?
Also it is a 700 can I put the 800 engine in it?

You'd have to have a full 08 or newer donor motor and electrics to do the 800 swap.

You are 100% sure its an 07? 07 Dragons were 155s only. So if its a 163 he's done a conversion to it. Not a bad thing, but not original.

A very good shape 07 Dragon 700 155 is worth upper $3000s here in Utah.

You aren't going to get away for under $2k for a motor for it I'm betting.

So figure with labor, even at $1300 you are cutting it close.

In my opinion, you treat it as a chassis, nothing more. And I wouldn't pay over $1000 for an 07 chassis.

Probably wouldn't do the swap then but what do you think about buying a used engine or should I stick with a new engine?
