I was doing my mcx nytro install last night and installed the headshim. I slotted the gears so the cams are back where they should be. The exhaust is right on but the intake is a little off. The gears also have 2 markings on them that were parallel with the block before I started this project, my question is are they supposed to look like that now?? If my timing is off how do I get it back to where it should be? I knew I should have let someone else do this.
Btw this is at TDC and everytime I made an adjustment it was always TDC.

Your holes/reference marks on top of cams look like they are in the same position mine were in when I did my kit.. The holes were slightly off centre at top and towards each other slightly..
Make sure you rotate crank around a few times to TDC and recheck your mag timing marks to verify its bang on..

thanks jrusher, makes me feel a lot better. I think I must of spun that thing around 20 times last night and the dots line up the same. :)
