Help in Portland

Hey portland folks, I'm looking for a bit of help.

I'm going to be coming out to Portland the start of Feb to visit my wifes grandparents. While we are out I'm going to be heading to Spokane to go riding with some buddies. Between them and myself I have everything I need, except for a Avy probe.

I was hoping someone would either have an extra for loan(maybe a beer payment of some sort) or would know a place in Portland that would rent them out?

I'm only going to be riding for 3 days and it's an easier sell to the wife to either rent or borrow one vs buying for 60 bucks.

Well if you wanted to drive a few miles out of the way on the way to spokane I would loan you mine and hey we could go riding too here if you want. And I have relatives in Portland you could leave it with on your way back, I dont think there is really anywhere to rent them

I would check with REI, or Oregon Mountain Community, if either of them don't rent they will be able to tell you where to go.
