Help!! Ice age rail measurements?

:mad:Anyone with Iceage rails running 8" wheels? We ordered rails for 8", but we think they sent rails for the stock 7" Yamaha wheels.
The measurement from the bottom of the rail (without hifax installed) to the center of the axle slot is 3 1/8". This looks like the same spacing that my old Yamaha rails were.

Can someone measure their rails if they are running 8" wheels and let me know the size? Naturally we noticed this just after 5 pm. I'm pretty sure we have the wrong ones.Maybe by Monday I will have calmed down!!:mad:

Did you use the arctic cat 2 wheel kit? I had alot of track slop to take up when i put my rails on i am running 8" wheels also

Yes we are running 2 wheel axle kit - inboard. When we put in the axle with the wheels they seemed to hang way too low below the bottom of the rails. We are doing two sleds, TONIGHT and are wondering whether to continue on with the rear suspension. :confused:

I used the MMP kit and my wheels sat just about flush with the bottom of the hyfax do you have a pic you could post?

i to have ice age rails with the artic rear axle and wheels off the m seriers!i never noticed the wheels lower but lets see pics or measurements!hope we can help you out!:):beer;

The rails are sitting 15/16" off the table when the 8" wheels are installed on the axle.I think that is more than the hifax thickness.
I can't get pictures to upload!

I was told to use Polaris hifax on my iceage rails. They are a fair amount thicker than the yamaha hifax. It may be possible that with the thicker hifax, you'll be just fine. I'll look at mine again.

would highly recommand checking with IceAge, had to send my rails back as well...

but 15/16th could easily be the Polaris Hyfax...they are thick!!! also, assume you went with non-tipped rails... will measure mine when I get home tonight...

but mine are tipped, and mine are set up for yammie tighteners...
