Hey guys im really lost as to what is going on I have a 2007 M1000 with a head ported motor and a bmp single pipe exhaust, bdx valve delete, sno pro intake, v-force reeds, and boondocker box. I ran the setup all year last year with SW exhaust and it ran good! My bd numbers were all positive like 3000= -1 0 +3, 5000= +1 +2 +3 6500= +1 +4 +9 7200 -1 8 +12 7500 -1 19 35 7800 -1 20 38 that was last years numbers spot on now this year I rode it once with those numbers and it ran ok. Now today i took it out and it wouldnt even get passed 6000 rpm with wot! My egt gauge was reading like 300 to 400f. So i had to lean the bd down to 3000 -7 -8 -6 5000 -9 -9 -6 6500 -4 -1 0. These were the numbers i had to run just to get the sled into the 7000+RPMS AND EVEN ON TOP i HAD TO DROP THE 7500 TO -2 10 19 7800 -2 10 20 and the egts were under 1000 degrees f on 7 to 8 second wot pulls! I didnt have egts last year to compare but egts seem really low to me any help or input would be great, really lost. power does not seem to be there at all either i use to run 77 gram weights at 7750 rpm now im only getting 7400 rpm with 75 gram weights!

PS its not the boondocker either because I disconnected the box and it was still so rich it wouldnt rev passed 6000 until i leaned it way down with the box! Please Any help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The speedwerx pipe is broken it cracked up and its out of warantee. The weird thing is i rode it a couple times before this and it seemed to run fine so i have a hard time pinning it on the pipe!!!

I dont have the reflash done I didnt think i would need it running the bd box with the mod motor but im now thinking maybe i should just to make sure everything in it is good!

Is the porting and head from bikeman also if so i think your up a creek there stuff does not work to good

A broken reed will make it run like that. Having the wrong belt will make it run like that. I know that everyone says that you can run the 0627-046 belt, but the 1000 should be running the 0627-060. I sold a M1000 last week that would not climb to the proper rpm just as you are describing, I found out the customer had switched to the 046 belt. We reinstalled the 060 belt and it immediately hit 7450 rpms. Bad fuel is one of the things I check first along with the plugs, caps and coil wires. T.O.R.S. may be activating, so check the cable play. What have you changed or done since you rode it last?

The porting and head is through bikeman but it was done a year and many good running miles ago! There is no valves im running the bdx valve deletes on it and have been for a while. Im running a 60 belt as well but this wasnt the problem either because it wasnt getting passed 6000 rpm until a really leaned it down then it got up in the 7000 range!

Ok I just checked the barometric tube that comes out of the ecu and it did seem to have some icy water build up in it! Could this have been what was giving me fits?

Just a thought..............

IMO...........get away from the 60 belt. The 46 is a much more reliable, RPM consistent belt.

Mine iced up in the mountains last year and it wouldn't pull past 6000. Sucked the ice out of the tube and it ran like a champ again. That was the first thing I thought when I read your post here, and it's the first thing I'd check if my sled started to act funny. This tube is for altitude compensation.

I got 4x the life out of 2 060's than the 2 other 046's.

Have the pipe welded up at a fab shop or give it to me, I'd love to have a SW pipe for just a little welding.

so i went and rode my sled and its not bogging like it was but now its missing at 6800 to 7300rpm but then after that it pulls hard and strong. But I would have to hold it wide open for a while before it would clear up. I tried everyting with the fuel on my bd and nothing helped it!! What could be causing this?
