Help for installing launch pads for 2006 Yamaha Viper Mountain

I am curious if under the running board on the 2006 viper mountain was a heat exchanger or just support that I could drill through. I guess I am a rookie and don't know if this is the heat exchanger? I am curious if anyone has added launch pads before? Any suggestions ?? Thanks

I am not 100% sure but I think the heat exchangers are under the running boards. I know they are on the short track sleds.

YES those are heat exchangers............. don't drill.

Any suggestions on how to install the launch pads....Can I take the heat exchanger off, install them, and then reinstall the heat exchangers? Or does this get very difficult?
