Wayde Johnson and I are looking for a 962 big bore Polaris Axys cylinder that I sent back to him for an update and has been missing over a week now
long story short gal at staples got Wayde"s street address right but shipped to wrong town.....Middleton Idaho....person at that address must of rejected it as addressed wrong. At that point UPS should have called my cell or shipped back to origin but rather they come up with a totally different street address as well as sent to Caldwell Idaho. I do have the address in Caldwell where it was dropped off and received but at this point would rather not post at this time. It was dropped off on the 16th of January.
I don't know at this point why they have kept or they possibly don't know what to do with it
This cylinder is very unique when you see it. There is extensive welding done to the Sides of the cylinder to accommodate boring and sleeving for the big bore pistons that go in it. Stock Axys Pistons will absolutely not work in this cylinder they will swim in it. Also the stock cylinder head will not work nor will the exhaust valves. The head and domes where custom built by Wayde as well, and the exhaust valves are custom machined, and I still have all that. With the cylinder there is also a custom approximately one inch tall spacer plate that goes between the case and cylinder head to accomadate the custom stroker crankshaft that goes in motor, lower cases where all custom machined as well.
So this cylinder is absolutely useless to whom ever has it unless they have all the thousands dollars of other parts and all the custom machine work done to put it all together. It will not work on a stock Axys motor.
If anybody comes across please give me a call on my cell, Wayde and I just want to get my cylinder back. UPS is looking but I don't trust them and thought I would reach out to all of you. This cylinder is in the Caldwell Idaho area.
