Help finding a shock spring retainer

The rod on one of the shocks on my 06 RMK 700 snapped and in the process, I lost the retainer that holds the spring in place on the upper end of the assembly. I've searched high and low, and cannot find the part anywhere. I'm wondering if anyone here has one, or knows how to get a hold of one. It is the piece in the pictures with the arrow pointing to it.

When I search through the fische for the suspension of a 06 RMK 700, the shock that pops up is a #7043090. This particular shock is the rebuildable one that came on the snow check sleds. The shock body is threaded and uses a threaded retainer nut. The shock that I have is just like the one pictured. The body is not threaded, and the retainer is simply held in place by some tabs on the body itself. The shock I have isn't rebuildable, and has the part # 7043049. It is the shock that came on the sled when I bought it new in 06. Any help in locating one of these retainers would be GREATLY appreciated
