Help contemplating 03 Summit 800 purchase

I am looking at a 2003 Summit 800 (non Rev) to purchase and I was hoping I could get some input on this sled. It will be a second sled for my wife and friends to ride. Any thing to watch out for or problems? It has 3400 miles, all stock and is in good condition.

The 01 to 03 summits had bad rings, so if they havent been done expect to be changing them, my 02 was very hard on gas as well.

Ditto, check the comp. mine ran well at 125 per side but was hard to start. A set of chrome rings and it ran just fine. 500 Main jets were stock but I went down to 480 ...at 2500-6000 feet. Recoils as we all know are crap , but I still ride my 02 , good sled . Dino

I have an 03 700summit, the 03's are a good solid sled, It does need a bar riser as they are a bit low, but hey everyone has their own tastes.

03 HO, best sled ever had. put on simmons flex ski's to make the steering light for her (complete change) and 16" wide track if you want it to make it climb. also this one has original rings with about 6000 km but check the carb boots as they come apart and can go lean.
