Help, Advise, on KK Rear Suspension

Long Story short I bought a 2005 Kingcat late last year in cherry condtion, I installed many aftermarket goodies from my 2003 900 1M and a new Power Claw Track with HRP drop Brackets, I rode Mt Spokane today in a couple feet of new snow and sunny skys, rear suspension worked great under full power but when just crusing, I could feel the front part of the rear supension hitting tunnel, not the back. My question could the drop brackets being causing a issue with the front part of the supension, I am going to remove them and try it, drop brackets worked great on my old 159 inch 900 1 M. MADDOGWFO, PS it felt great to ride again after being hurt last season and before Thanksgiving and I no the red does not go with the orange on the seat and skis but they were off my 900 1M

The Powerclaw does stretch quite a bit at first, Maybe it was banging the tunnel? I assume the suspension is the KK suspension and not part '03 and later mixed? The brackets will make the back of the suspension lower taking pressure off the front shock assy. Give it a try and see what happens! Mike

Could it have been the rail tips hitting the extrovert drivers? When I switched to the factory exvolute drivers on my KK the rail tips started hitting and had to be trimmed back some more.

Thanks guys

:face-icon-small-con1Mike900 stock KK suspension and I just went out and checked track which was ok not overly loose, from the vibration I was feeling I am thinking it could be the rail ends hitting the drivers diesel12, when I installed the track I also installed a anti stab kit, I am going to drop supension out tomorrow and check things out, thanks for the imput

When I had my KK I had a vibration for the first season, just thought it was normal. Come to find out the hi-fax was wore out and the drive lugs inside the track was hitting the cross shaft for the front boogies. Changed the hi-fax and the vibration went away. Might be worth checking??

hitting rail ends

diseal12 was right, i just got back from my shop and can see and feel where rail ends were hitting drivers, I will have to shorten them up, but I am curious why they would be hitting, is it the track, dropbrackets, forward mounted steering post causing me to ride with my weight more forward, any thoughts, MADDOGWFO

The cause..............

Drop brackets! You are on the right track. Also dont be shy about how much to trim off the rails. I wouldnt trim the end caps at all. Just move them back. You will have to redrill for the bolt that holds the hifax in place too. I was going to advise an antistab kit. But you already said you got one. Good insurance.
