RMK700 for $7700 vs dragon 800 for $8800 Would reliability of 700 outshine instantaneous gratification of dragon? Can new remaps fix 800 or do I need PC5? I ride alot of loong roads and then some meadows. Plan on CDTS, Snowies, Ears. Am 68 years old, had a 02 700RMK. Will 800Dragon stay out of shop? pay wxtra for 3 yr. extended warranty.

$7700 is a pretty penny for a '10 700.... But, IMO, one of the best sleds ever made

I'd look for a good, low mileage used 700 unit '09/10 with warranty remaining... you would be $$ ahead and probably have a few "goodies" on the sled.

I loved my 700... you will be super happy with it... Not much difference in power between the two stock, believe it or not.

There are deffinatly better deals to be had out there. I have an 09 700 and just bought a 10 800. It's going to be hard to beat the overall performance of the 700 and if you don't need to be the biggest or baddest, buy the 700 for around 7K

One of the guys bought the 2010 700 and I had to tell the wife to stay away from that guy because he'd tear her Assault a new one. The guy is very hard on his machines and that 700 didn't miss a beat last winter. The thing hauled *** like a Polaris is suppose to.

dragonron:

Why have worries over the 800. Get a 7 and be done with it. I had an '08 D7 155 and put 2200 trouble-free miles on it. Absolutely no issues. Picked up an '09 700 RMK 155 back in March and haven't looked back. Gets my old dago *** wherever I need to go.

Recently sold my '08 to a young feller who sold his 600 to buy mine. He didn't want to go to the 800 either. Polaris is missing the boat by not offering the 700 motor in the Pro RMK. That would be a real nice unit.

And $7700 is way to much for a used '10 700. Keep looking.

Good luck.

If its going to be a long term cominmant with the sled get the 700.I have an 09 800 and have not had any issues.I recently bought a hold over 09 700RMK with full warranty for my wife. She will keep this sled for a long time so reliability was a key feature.I did not want too have 2 800CFI in the family in case of issues
